Introduction to enamelling

In this one day course you will be introduced to the medium of enamelling on copper using sifting techniques to apply the enamel.  You will cut and texture small pieces of copper and then apply layers of opaque and transparent coloured enamels and fire the pieces in a kiln.  At the end of the day you will have enamelled three or four small pieces to take home.

The course runs by arrangement - please email or telephone Lynne to arrange a mutually convenient date - it is usually from 10am until 3pm (including a short lunch break) but other times can be arranged to suit.

It is £65 for the one day course and this includes copper, enamels and the use of tools and equipment

Art clay silver and enamelling

This is a more specialised One day course, for those with some experience in using art clay silver.  You will be introduced to the “wet laying” technique of enamelling and make a small piece in art clay silver, firing  then apply  layers of transparent and coloured enamels and firing in the kiln.  At the end of the day you will have enamelled a small piece that can be made into jewellery to take home

10am to 3pm or 11am to 4pm (inc lunch break)
